This Meetup will occur very much like the “munches” that the Meetup groups normally host. However, the New York City Magickal Group will have one major distinction: the entire focus of this group is Magick and its application and use. Candle magick, crystal-gazing, the latest or best books on the market, full moon and new moon rituals - all of it and more is fair game for discussion. In short, it will be "Craft - Intensive." Pre- and post-meeting discussions all happen on the Yahoo group.

Besides having a good time with new and old friends in a social environment, focused discussions and moderate lecture/class material will take place. I will also be looking for “guest speakers” from various traditions to address our mmbership.

Wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of our world and our place in it should be the hallmark of any practicing witch.

Therefore, politics, science, and the arts are spoken here! We’re looking for innovative people who love living life with a pagan and witchcraft edge. The intention of this group is to develop into something that can help empower the soul. Therefore, Patrons of the Arts are especially welcome. Hopefully, over time members can, also, express their own venues of interest and/or expertise.

It is with an open hand and heart that I welcome you and other local magickal practitioners, occultists, pagans/heathens, etc., to exchange information, practices, and personal learning experiences regarding magick and other occult topics.
